Siem Reap's Angkor Travel Itinerary

Half-Day Itinerary

South Gate of Angkor Thom, Central Angkor Thom (Bayon, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King; Royal Palace) or Angkor Wat or Ta Prohm.

One-day Visit

Morning: Angkor Thom [ The Biggest City in Khmer Empire ] - South Gate, the Bayon, Terrace of the Leper King and Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon; Royal Palace. Afternoon: Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat for sunset.

Two-day tour

Day 1: Morning: Angkor Thom South Gate, the Bayon, Terrace of the Leper King and Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon. Royal Palace.
Afternoon: Angkor Wat, Sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

Day 2: Morning: Banteay Kdey, Banteay Srei and Ta Prohm.
Afternoon: Floating Village and Silk Factory

Three-day Tour

Day 1: Morning: Angkor Thom South Gate, the Bayon, Terrace of the Leper King and Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon. Royal Palace.
Afternoon: Angkor Wat, Sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

Day 2: Morning: Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, Pre Rup.
Afternoon: Floating Village or (Eastern Mebon, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan).

Day 3: Morning: Roluos Group and Silk Factory.
Afternoon: Cultural Village or marketThe above itinerary is flexible and may be adjusted to suit your requirements.

OTHER TEMPLES to Visit

  •  Beng Mealea: It is 70 km from Angkor Wat. Temple Sprawling jungle Temple covering over one square kilometer.
  • Kbal Spean: Adventure through jungle walking up the mountain 45 minutes. Literally means head of the river this is the River of 1000 Lingas.
  • Phnom Kulen: You can visit a waterfall and active pagoda on the summit of a mountain.Koh Ker Temple: It is located in Preah Vihear province,150 km from Siem Reap.
  • Banteay Chhmar Temple: It is a ruin temple. This Temple is situated in Banteay Meancheay province, 160 km from Siem Reap Angkor.

    Two-Day Visit

    Date: 1: Morning: When arrive at Phnom Penh, After Resting You can Visit Wat Phnom ( The founding place of Phnom Penh City) and check in hotel
    Afternoon: Visit National Museum ( Over 5000 pre-historical and historical objects display) , Royal Palace ( The present king’s residence), and Silver Pagoda with 1650 precious objects in Silver Pagoda and the Independent Monument.  

    Day 2: Morning: visit Toul Sleng (a museum, a memorial and a testament to the madness of the Khmer Rouge regime)
    Afternoon: isit Toul Tom Puong Market – known by foreigner as Russian market (The market with more varied selection of souvenirs),

    Three-Day Visit

    Day 1: visit Wat Phnom ( The founding place of Phnom Penh City), Visit National Museum ( Over 5000 pre-historical and historical objects display) , Royal Palace ( The present king’s residence), and Silver Pagoda with 1650 precious objects in Silver Pagoda.

    Day 2: explore the near by destination of Phnom Penh – Tonle Bati, where two angkorian temples (12th century) are built. Both temples were built under Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. Next, visit the nearby national zoo ( Tamao zoo), Return to Phnom Penh. PM:  Visit Independent Monument, then enjoy the sunset Boat cruise along Chatomuk (Four faces) river.
